Superfoods Fundraiser to support our Tower Garden System

This tower garden system will become a key part of GHCFE’s sustainability curriculum, where students from various grades will engage in hands-on learning. Students will grow various organic vegetables, herbs, and greens, learning about the life cycle of plants, the importance of reducing food miles, and how controlled environment agriculture can combat food insecurity.

Through this immersive process, students will see firsthand how much more efficient and resource-conscious indoor growing systems are compared to traditional methods. They will learn to care for plants, monitor growth conditions, and understand the environmental benefits of aeroponic systems—such as reduced water usage and avoiding harmful pesticides—fostering a deep appreciation for sustainable agriculture.
